The great thing about arranging a funeral through Great Goodbyes is you have full transparency about all the costs. You will also learn what has to be done, what’s optional, and what you might wish to do yourself, either to keep costs down or make the funeral more personal. A funeral, with lots of support from family and friends can cost as little as $4,000.
Do I need to start right now?
For many, connecting with the funeral director as soon as possible is important. This ensures you are in good hands if the body needs collecting from hospital, home or hospice. After doing this, you may wish to pause, and consult with family and friends before coming back to the Great Goodbyes website to arrange all the details for the funeral service.
When do I have to pay?
After completing your Great Goodbye funeral plan you will have a comprehensive breakdown of all the funeral costs. Your funeral director will also have a copy of this document. You will pay your funeral director according to standard industry terms which is usually 30 days after the funeral.
Can I get help to pay for the funeral?
